New VTI Report Launched - ESOS National Code Good Practice Guide

This document summarises each of the 15 Standards of the National Code and provides assistance with implementing them. The first section of the Guide summarises each of the 15 Standards in turn. Then it briefly highlights some of the key issues that VTI members have found complex in the implementation of the National Code. Following this, the Guide lists examples of policy or procedures that member TAFEs use to ensure good practice under each of the National Code Standards. The Appendices of the Guide provide templates for procedures or policies that readers may use to ensure their own good practice in implementing the National Code.

Launched on March 7th by Peter Holden of TAFE Directors Australia who said...this report is unique; it provides considered advice on how to approach the Standards. TDA commits to bringing this report to the attention of every Australian TAFE CEO and recommends that it form part of a staff induction program in every TAFE.

Best Practice in Agent Management: A Guide for Education Providers

The VTI has been awarded a National Best Practice/Innovation Award for its report, Best Practice in Agent Management: A Guide for Education Providers.
